Furniture and finishes
New objects, colour finishes and the interactions that go with them.
The creator space
Cohavie is built to be extended. The same content system powers the official game, the house generator and community creations, so what you make behaves exactly like what we make.
Every kind of content below has a template, automatic checks and a preview in our creator tool. Some are still being finished before we open them publicly.
New objects, colour finishes and the interactions that go with them.
Jobs, hobbies and personal skills.
Personality traits, tastes and social interactions.
Outfits, hair and accessories fitted to the game’s characters.
Textures, colour palettes, windows and doors.
Complete homes, empty shells to furnish, public spaces and outdoor decorations.
Short animations and sounds attached to interactions.
Language packs for your own content or to bring the game to more people.
Our creator tool runs on its own, with nothing else to install. Pick a kind of content and name your pack.
Describe your content, let the tool check it and look at the previews, without launching the game.
Import the pack from the game’s menu and it becomes available to your household.
Share the folder, or publish on Steam Workshop once publishing opens.
Creations add content without running community programs. Packs are checked before use to reduce risks and identify compatibility issues.
You never need the tools we use to build the game. The creator tool runs on its own.
Every pack is checked before it can touch a game. Invalid content is refused with a clear reason.
Local mods work without Steam. Workshop is a way to find and share packs, not a requirement.
Official content, generated houses and community packs go through the same system. Nothing is second class.
The creator tool and local packs already exist and are used to build the game. Public downloads and written guides will arrive with the game itself. Until then, tell us what you’d like to make: it helps us decide what to open first.
